Extinguishing System Engineer

For our SI B Business Unit Solution Architecture Center Group in Istanbul, we are looking for an Extinguishing System Engineer. This role will be responsible for performing design and site audit operations for Extinguishing Systems projects. Engineer will be responsible for design of the system, audit of mechanical/electrical installation at site, technical documentation, kick-off meetings, prepare as-built projects, final acceptance tests and technical trainings for national and international projects.

What are my responsibilities?

• Performing the design and audit operations for Extinguishing Systems.
• Performing site survey if necessary.
• Understand the customer’s needs and take necessary actions to create appropriate solutions.
• Identifying scope changes during the project and implementing project revisions
• Regular reporting on project progress
• Responsible for increasing own technical and application skills to improve design quality.
• Create sales opportunities (service and maintenance contracts, spare parts, modernization etc.) in customer plants and forward the opportunities to the sales team.
  
  

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient in at least one of gas, water, or foam suppression systems
• Very good command of English both written and spoken.
• National/International regulations knowledge about extinguishing systems.
• Min. 3 years of experience in Extinguishing Systems.
• Construction site experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office Applications.
• Product and/or Application Knowledge.
• Open to emerging technologies and innovations, with a desire for continuous learning
• Analytical thinking and communication skills, team player
• Ability to drive and travel intensively around the country.
