OpenShift Virtualization & Cloud Platforms Senior System Engineer

We are looking for highly motivated and experienced Senior System Engineers to join our Cloud Platforms & Data Center Management team. You will take part in the design, deployment, and operation of OpenShift Virtualization and Linux-based mission-critical infrastructure, running both modern containerized platforms and legacy systems.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems.
• Proven hands-on expertise with OpenShift Virtualization and Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience operating mixed environments: legacy Linux-based workloads and modern container platforms.
• Familiarity with automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Git, or similar.
• Experience with OpenShift Container Platform, OKD, or RHEL CoreOS.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud deployments.
• Experience in infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting in cloud-native environments.
• Knowledge of storage, networking, and system security concepts.
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Ability to work in Agile project teams and conduct technology evaluations (PoC).
• Good command of written and spoken English.

What You'll Do

• Design, deploy, and manage OpenShift Virtualization environments.
• Operate and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems hosting legacy applications and container platforms.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security across hybrid environments.
• Integrate and operate Kubernetes-based workloads alongside traditional systems.
• Develop infrastructure automation using tools like Ansible or similar.
• Conduct PoC (Proof of Concept) projects for emerging infrastructure technologies.
• Support system monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Establish and enforce system hardening, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Provide third-level escalation support and perform root cause analysis.
• Document technical procedures, configurations, and best practices.
