In this role, you will be responsible to support with Global Commercial Marketing projects and activities, as well as regional plans and activities designed to meet the commercial objectives of Qatar Airways. In particular your role will be responsible to handle the marketing stream of partnerships with other airlines, tourism boards and airports, Also, you will work closely with internal stakeholders like Alliances, Global Sales, Regional Teams, to ensure streamlined flow of communication, understand business needs and compliance with HO Commercial Marketing processes, specifically in the planning of Marketing activities and working with the Procurement, Contracts and Finance departments.

In this role, you will be responsible to support with Global Commercial Marketing projects and activities, as well as regional plans and activities designed to meet the commercial objectives of Qatar Airways. In particular your role will be responsible to handle the marketing stream of partnerships with other airlines, tourism boards and airports, Also, you will work closely with internal stakeholders like Alliances, Global Sales, Regional Teams, to ensure streamlined flow of communication, understand business needs and compliance with HO Commercial Marketing processes, specifically in the planning of Marketing activities and working with the Procurement, Contracts and Finance departments.
As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
- Work closely with strategic airlines partners, collaborate to create and execute campaigns to enhance the collaboration and promoting new initiatives to generate value, as well as creating cross collaborations between your main areas of responsibility.
- Collaborate to oversee tourism board partnerships to meet company’s business priorities, supporting partner’s objectives (e.g. awareness/conversion), utilizing business intelligence tools to identify and promote relevant flows to the targeted destinations, ensuring a 360 degree and balanced approach analyzing historical revenue performances from feeder markets, industry trends and connectivity and propose an optimized budget split across markets.
- Coordinate and execute campaigns in key markets, providing also necessary support to local teams for regional execution when requested. This includes briefings, stakeholder coordination, contractual, budget planning, reporting and post-campaign reimbursements.
- Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders such as Alliances, Global Sales, Corporate Planning, contributing to the growth and expansion of existing codeshare partnerships, onboarding new tourism boards to promote flows from key markets and supporting the development of new routes or resumptions through marketing funds.
- Understand commercial analytics and forecasts, determine where the pressure points lie, assisting to develop marketing strategies to support sales and develop opportunities for partnerships with Airlines, Tourism Boards and Airport Authorities’
- Conduct commercial analysis of revenue opportunities and traffic flows in collaboration with sales and revenue management.
- Collaborate in development of an integrated marketing campaign plan for launch of the new destinations or new partners flying to Doha, inclusive of briefing to agencies for media selections, tactical drives, local sponsorships, below the line activities etc. and coordinate budgets, contracts, payments and procurement requirements for the project.
- Ensure integration of marketing plan with PR, social media and events strategy overall and manage budget approval process, track marketing utilization and ensure effective spending.

About You
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent with at least 3 years of job-related experience.
- Passion for aviation and travel, previous airline experience or within the travel industry will be considered as a plus.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Experience and proficiency with data analytics, in particular with Tableau and Adobe.
- Analytical in summarizing marketing and revenue trends and forecasts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and Powerpoint
- Ability to perform effectively well under pressure within the environment of time constraints, change in priorities to resolve issues with a high level of competence and professionalism.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication in English with excellent influencing capabilities. Knowledge of a second language will be a plus.
- Ability to work well across teams as role requires integration across divisions.
