The mission of the Design System team is to produce a reusable, composable and accessible design system that supports an outstanding user experience. As a Software Engineer (SWE), you will bring your strong programming skills and teamwork to delivering the Verily design system components, enabling our application teams as they build front end experiences for Verily customers.

Description
The mission of the Design System team is to produce a reusable, composable and accessible design system that supports an outstanding user experience. As a Software Engineer (SWE), you will bring your strong programming skills and teamwork to delivering the Verily design system components, enabling our application teams as they build front end experiences for Verily customers.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the development team, Product Management, UXD and A11y to design, develop, and deliver new application components.
- Come up with ideas to technical design problems, compare options, and propose solutions.
- Develop using industry-standard tools including GitHub, React, TypeScript, Storybook and Cypress to name a few.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering.
- At least 3 years experience as a software engineer in an industry setting.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
- Strong React fundamentals.
- Clear written communication, especially in design and architecture documents.
- Ability to facilitate productive discussions across the extended team (UXD, A11y).
- Experience with WCAG A11y standards and requirements.
- Testing experience (BDD, Integration).
- MUI library experience.
- Agile production methods (Jira).
