Senior Dotnet Developer

Responsibilities

As a member of the counter party risk Team, you will be responsible for leading transformative, development and optimization efforts in our grid computing ecosystem. This includes participating in or leading architectural innovation and path finding efforts to revamp the actual system and implement ArmoniK solution on the Cloud. This role expects the candidate to work as individual contributor and a technical team lead based on the project assignment.

Scope of Work

• Develop comprehensive cloud migration strategies and project plans.
• Execute and manage the migration process, ensuring minimal downtime
• Develop solutions for optimizing parallel and distributed job processing in high throughput compute clusters.
• Assessment of workloads on the grid and continuously evaluate resource utilization with a goal to extract the highest utilization possible.
• Develop and maintain high quality fully tested source code complying with deadlines, schedule, quality and coding standards.
• Address technical aspects with Architect / Senior Developers and functional aspects with Business Analyst.
• Liaise with business analysts for clarification and understanding of requirements.
• Organize and keep up to date technical documentation.
• Develop tests strategy in coordination with Project Manager / Business Analysts.
• Provide technical assistance during User Acceptance Test.
• Support applications in production - analyze and resolve issues as they arise.

Qualifications and Profile

Work Experience

• 10+ years of experience in C#
• Experience on modern .Net, (version >=8)
• Experience designing cloud solutions (GCP)
• Experience on Grid Computing (ArmoniK)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes concepts, like pods, services, deployments, and stateful sets.
• Experience with container runtimes like Docker and container.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes networking, including CNI plugins, ingress controllers, and service meshes.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools, such as Helm, Kustomize, or Terraform.
• Technical Skill
• .Net framework, C#, ASP.NET, .Net CORE
• Linux environment
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with GCP services i.e., DataProc Cloud Storage, Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Composer, Big Query, etc..
• Understanding of proven design patterns, awareness of anti-patterns, performance tuning.
• Multi Tiered Architecture, OOP Principles and Design Patterns.
• SQL Server developments and SQL request optimizations.
• Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery

Functional Skills

• General knowledge in Counter Party Risk would be an added value.
