Junior Data Engineer

We are expanding our set of core competences in the Data and Artificial Intelligence domain and are seeking a Data Engineer to join the Data & AI team. We operate the company global Data Lake and process a large variety of data sets, ranging from cyber security threat data to product sales. Here you will work with other parts of the company to help making better data-driven decisions and protect our users even better. Many diverse and interesting data-related problems will need to be solved along the way. We are also building innovative customer-facing solutions like Luminen, so you will also get the chance to work on applying Generative AI to concrete use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Together with your fellow Data Engineers, create new data pipelines and continue to enrich our Data Lake,
  
  

processing millions of events every day

• Design and plan new data and AI solutions together with the rest of the team and our customers
• Learn more about new technologies and evaluate them as they become available
• Work together with cyber security experts to find novel solutions to real-life problems
  
  

What are we looking for?

• Experience with relevant programming languages, in particular Python. Other languages such as
  
  

Javascript/Typescript, SQL and Java considered a plus.

• Experience using AWS services or other public cloud services (e.g. any use of Kinesis, IAM, Lambda, S3,
  
  

CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Fargate, Glue, DynamoDB, Neptune, Aurora, EMR, EC2 is a plus)

• Experience in API design, quality practices, continuous deployment, DevOps and DataOps
• Experience with solutions based on Artificial Intelligence, e.g., prompt engineering.
• Completed (or close to completed) studies in computer science and/or cybersecurity
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Good communication skills

• AWS cloud service certifications.
• Experience with Agile SW development, Test Automation, Quality control and CICD systems.
• Understanding of machine learning and / ML Ops.
• Involvement in open-source projects.
