Business Analyst

Contract Opportunity – Payments Business Analyst | On-site | Dublin

We’re working with a global fintech client who is looking to hire an experienced Business Analyst on a contract basis, based on-site in Dublin.

You’ll play a key role in translating business needs into detailed requirements that support the delivery of innovative payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business requirements and user stories
• Create clear data mappings and acceptance criteria
• Analyse complex business issues and propose actionable solutions
• Assess the impact of changes on stakeholders and existing systems

Ideal Profile:

• 5–6 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in Agile/SAFE environments
• Strong experience using JIRA for user stories and backlog grooming
• Independent, proactive, and adaptable to shifting priorities
• Strong communicator across technical and business teams
• Payments domain knowledge, especially in clearing/authorization.

Additional Skills:

• SQL scripting
• Experience with scheme fees and transaction pricing
• Familiarity with transaction workflows and payment industry standards
