Devops Engineer (Junior & Middle) - Bucharest, CIM

Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the development and deployment processes on the Azure platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, automate tasks, with a particular focus on maintaining high QA standards.

Responsibilities

• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Experience in Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Implement and Manage Azure DevOps Pipelines:
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Ensure pipelines are optimized for speed, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with QA and Development Teams:
• Work closely with QA engineers to define testing strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure testability of applications and to diagnose issues.
• Monitor and Improve Application Quality:
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions on Azure to track application performance and identify issues early.
• Ensure Security and Compliance:
• Incorporate security testing into the CI/CD pipelines to identify vulnerabilities.
• Ensure applications and pipelines comply with industry standards and organizational policies.
• Continuous Improvement and Learning:
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services and DevOps best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA and deployment processes.
• Containerization: Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring efficient scaling and orchestration of microservices.
• Security: Collaborate with the security team to implement security best practices, perform vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development and QA teams to support the software development lifecycle, resolve infrastructure-related issues, and facilitate efficient collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Shell, Python, Ruby).
• Strong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Travis CI).
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.

Location: Now Aurel Vlaicu, but soon in the Grozavesti area

Working mode: Hybrid ( 3 days office)
