I’m partnering with an exceptional SaaS business ranked in the top 1-2% globally, and we’re looking for a talented Principal/Staff Backend Engineer to join their team. This fully remote role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge features for initiatives across the business as they continue to innovate in the space.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, implement, and optimize complex microservices that scale effectively.
• Build highly reliable, performant, and scalable systems using Go as your primary language.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (frontend, product, devops) to define and build robust backend architectures.
• Work with Node.js and TypeScript to integrate backend services with modern web applications.
• Drive best practices around system design, code quality, and performance monitoring.
• Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support to ensure quality across the engineering team.

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in backend development, with deep expertise in Go.
• Strong understanding and experience working with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience in designing and deploying microservices architectures.
• Strong familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• A passion for writing clean, maintainable code and delivering high-quality products.
• Experience in performance tuning, scalability, and systems optimization.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
