Seeking DevOps/SRE professionals with a strong background in DevSecOps to join our client, a leading organisation in the financial services sector to work within a cross-functional product engineering team, contributing across the development lifecycle from design through to deployment and ongoing support. Automation, security, and scalability are central to everything we build, and your input will be key to achieving those outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design and support infrastructure and cloud-hosted applications using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Develop scripts and tooling to automate deployment and operational tasks.
  • Monitor system health and performance; identify and implement optimisations.
  • Collaborate on improvements to cloud-native architectures across environments.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and support incident/problem management.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and best practice discussions.
  • Maintain technical documentation and ensure knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and new joiners.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Hands-on experience in a DevOps or SRE capacity, ideally in a hybrid cloud setting.
  • Strong scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Octopus Deploy.
  • Proven capability with cloud platforms, Azure preferred, but AWS/GCP experience is also valued.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration in production.
  • Knowledge of networking and security (firewalls, load balancers, identity, RBAC, IAM).
  • Agile experience and strong cross-team collaboration skills.
  • Clear communication and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Desirable Experience:

  • Migrating workloads from on-premises to cloud environments.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices and encryption.
  • Certifications in Azure or other cloud platforms.
  • Use of observability and logging platforms such as DataDog, App Insights, or Splunk.
  • Experience with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
  • Development background (.NET/C#, SQL) is a bonus.
