We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Senior Embedded AI Engineer to join a leading team working on AI-powered consumer electronics. The role involves building scalable, real-time AI solutions directly on devices using custom hardware accelerators. The ideal candidate brings deep technical knowledge of edge deployment, strong collaboration skills across firmware and hardware, and a practical mindset for driving innovation in production-ready systems.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and implement embedded AI features in next-generation consumer electronics
• Lead ML model deployment on custom hardware platforms with Edge TPUs, NPUs, or similar accelerators
• Collaborate closely with firmware and hardware teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions
• Optimize ML pipelines for real-time, on-device inference in performance- and power-sensitive environments

Your Background

• Proven experience with edge deployment using Google Coral, Edge TPUs, or custom NPUs
• Strong familiarity with Yocto Linux, embedded toolchains, and device-level CI/CD practices
• Solid understanding of end-to-end ML pipelines, from data collection to inference optimization
• Experience in embedded C/C++, Python, or related system-level languages

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work on AI features in consumer devices (e.g., smart home, wearables, audio/video devices)
• Experience integrating ML models into bare-metal or real-time systems
• Familiarity with hardware/software co-design for AI acceleration
• Contributions to open-source embedded AI or ML frameworks
