Project description:

The client, an investment bank is renewing its workflow automation technology. The project it's a new platform aiming at simplifying business process interactions and automation by using modern technologies specific to this domain.

You will help build a new green field workflow platform, that will be the strategic platform for workflow automation used by the client. You will have the opportunity to design the functional blueprints and related requirements to expand upon the platform to solve the technology challenges of tomorrow: providing automation solutions.

Core technologies are Java, Camunda, Spring, Hibernate, and Elasticsearch deployed on OpenShift/Kubernetes environments and automated by E2E CI/CD pipelines.

• Responsibilities:

• Act as a Business Analyst in developing new technology applications in partnership with Business and Operations stakeholders to transform the Investment Bank Operations interactions.

• Participate as an active scrum team member working alongside our business and operations users, developers, architects, UX Designers & UI Developers.

• Understand current state business process, and challenges and work with business stakeholders and operations to define strategic solutions.

• Organize working groups and provide regular updates to stakeholders on delivery status and risks

• Translate business needs: Create models, diagrams, presentations, and other documentation that support the target audience in understanding the business requirements

• Attend scrum ceremonies as required and be involved in the Product Backlog refinement sessions for defining user stories with the team.

• Agree on test scenarios and conditions for signoff with stakeholders.

• Contribute to the BA community with own experience and sharing of best practices and standards and mentor junior members.

• Mandatory Skills Description:

Minimum 5 Years' experience as Business or Technical Analyst, preferably in banks;

Experience in software development for Private Banking wold be a plus;

Strong knowledge on technology & database concepts, SQL, APIs, Postman;

Good knowledge of business analysis methods and tools (Agile, Jira, Confluence, MS Office);

Experience in conceptualization and solution definition;

Good analytical and problem-solving experience;

Ability to identify and interpret stakeholders needs and requirements;

Self-motivated and flexibility to work autonomously coupled with ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organizations including appreciation of different cultures during collaborating and sharing;

An organized self-starter able to manage in a complex environment;

A team player who continually collaborates and shares information;

Continually looks to simplify and standardize solutions.

• Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

German speaking language;

Knowledge of Camunda BPM processes.
