From our headquarters in Skøyen, Oslo we aid our subsidiaries whom operate quite independently with a host of different functions. Your role is particularly important to us, as we are a company that strongly values IT security but recognizes that we have improvements to make. We are also a company where advice on security is heeded and will be taken seriously by all.

We are looking for a CISO (you do not need a previous experience as CISO) with a solid technical understanding of infrastructure and experience in cybersecurity. This is also a role with a particular set of challenges. Due to our diversity in companies and locations, you will also be faced with a complex environment of different actors with severely different needs. We strain from pushing broad sweeping solutions onto our subsidiaries, but rather meet them and build a working system locally. You will therefore be meeting with leadership and IT across all our subsidiaries to understand, improve and implement security improvements.

Work tasks

• Collaborate closely with leadership at each subsidiary, understand their challenges, and implement tailored security measures
• Travel to various locations and work directly with their technical solutions
• Provide support and guidance in incident handling, including phishing attacks and other security threats
• Assist in training and raising cybersecurity awareness among employees
• Contribute to the development of resilient IT architecture and conduct regular assessments to identify and address security needs
  
  

We are looking for

To succeed in this role you need expertise within the technical aspects of Cyber Security, and we pose less demands on governance side. Whilst governance will be a part of your role, that is something we believe you can grow into. The right candidate will have both the technical expertise, and an ability to understand and communicate with our subsidiaries in a cooperative manner.

• 5 years or more of experience within Cyber Security and infrastructure
• Network and OS Fundamentals, understanding of Linux, Windows, TCP/IP, and networking principles
• Security Tools Experience, hands-on with SIEM systems, firewalls, IDS/IPS, cloud and on-prem solutions as well as backup procedures
• Comfortable with 30-50 travelling days a year
• Fluency in English
