Job Title: Freelance Project Manager – Azure Migration (VMware ExTI)

Location: German based / Remote

Rate: €100/hour

Duration: 6 months (extendable)

Start Date: ASAP

Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate a complex Azure migration from a VMware ExTI environment. You will manage timelines, resources, risks, and communications across technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end delivery of the Azure migration project
• Manage project plan, milestones, and budget
• Coordinate architects, engineers, and third-party vendors
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and stakeholder updates
• Track risks, issues, and dependencies; ensure timely resolution
• Report project status to leadership and support governance activities

Requirements

• Proven track record in managing cloud migration or infrastructure transformation projects
• Strong knowledge of Azure and VMware environments (technical background is a plus)
• Experienced in Agile/Scrum and traditional project management
• Skilled in tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar
• Fluent in English (German a plus)
