Senior AI Engineer / Applied AI Specialist

We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to be assigned to FarmasiX Istanbul.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior AI Engineer who is not only technically strong but also practical in applying modern AI tools and platforms. This is not a classic data science role—this is a hands-on, solution-oriented AI position where prompt engineering (in English) and the ability to leverage GenAI tools for real-world use cases are key.

You’ll play a crucial role in designing, building, and operating AI-powered solutions, including tasks like generating social media content, automating content workflows, running AI agents, and integrating low-code/no-code platforms. You’ll also coordinate with external teams when needed and have the potential to grow into a technical leadership role as the team expands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and refine advanced prompts in English for LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.) for various operational use cases
• Use GenAI tools to generate daily outputs such as social media visuals and copy, content drafts, email replies, etc.
• Build and optimize agent-based systems using tools like LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGen
• Explore, evaluate, and deploy AI tools to improve business processes
• Collaborate with design, marketing, product, and software teams to turn AI into practical results
• Build lightweight AI workflows using no-code/low-code platforms (e.g., Bubble, Make, UiPath)
• Guide and manage output quality from external vendors or freelance AI contributors
• When needed, contribute to traditional AI/ML workflows (data processing, model training, evaluation, deployment)

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in AI project delivery, data science, or digital transformation
• Strong English skills with the ability to write precise, structured, and strategic prompts for LLMs
• Proficiency in Python and popular AI/ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based AI services (AWS SageMaker, Azure AI, etc.)
• Familiarity with no-code/low-code platforms (Bubble, UiPath, Make, Zapier)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with different teams
• Experience with agile methodologies and iterative development
• Fast learner, highly curious, and open to mastering new tools and concepts quickly

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face Transformers, or similar frameworks
• Experience deploying AI in content creation, marketing automation, or customer-facing tools
• MLOps understanding (CI/CD, versioning, deployment, monitoring)
• Ability to evaluate and manage freelancers or external AI vendors
• Ambition to take on future technical leadership responsibilities as the team scales

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field
• (Preferred) MBA or interdisciplinary graduate degree with a focus on AI
