Art Basel is seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager as they expand their global presence into Qatar. Art Basel is one of the world’s premier contemporary art fairs, with flagship shows held annually in Basel, Paris, Miami Beach, and Hong Kong. Renowned for its high-calibre curation and global reach, Art Basel brings together leading galleries, artists, collectors, and institutions, making it a pivotal platform in the international art world. The brand is synonymous with innovation, creativity, and cultural influence, and offers a dynamic environment for professionals working at the intersection of art, marketing, and global events.
We’re seeking a marketing professional fluent in both Arabic and English, and skilled in leading integrated campaigns across digital, media, and experiential platforms.
This is a permanent role based in Qatar, and a relocation package is available for the successful candidate.
Role Overview
As Marketing Manager, you will drive audience growth, brand visibility, and engagement through innovative and data-led campaigns. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable navigating digital tools and managing creative partnerships, with a strong understanding of regional market dynamics and cultural nuance.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and deliver integrated marketing strategies tailored to regional and global objectives.
· Manage digital and offline campaigns including media planning, paid advertising, email marketing, social media, and PR.
· Build and maintain relationships with local and international media, creative agencies, and partners.
· Track and analyse campaign performance and audience behaviour, using insights to refine future strategy.
· Coordinate closely with internal teams (Communications, VIP, Sponsorship, Content) to ensure aligned messaging and delivery.
· Ensure all campaigns reflect Art Basel’s tone, values, and cultural relevance within the Middle East.
· Produce marketing materials such as brochures, media kits, and sales presentations.
· Keep up to date with global marketing trends, particularly within the art and luxury sectors.
Your Profile
· 5–7+ years of marketing experience, ideally in the cultural, luxury, or lifestyle industries.
· Proficiency with digital marketing platforms including Google Analytics, Meta Ads, and email automation tools.
· Exceptional communication, project management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
· Fluent in English and Arabic.
· Deep interest in contemporary art and cultural innovation.
· Confident strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and strong executional skills.
· Understanding of Qatari and wider GCC markets is a distinct advantage.
