What You’ll Do

We are seeking a seasoned Release Train Engineer (Senior Scrum Master) with preference to those with banking or capital market industry practice. In this position, you will be project managing in an agile way from initiation, production and through to delivery. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong stakeholder management, reporting capabilities and executive presence.

Key Responsibilities


  • Drive progressive elaboration (Client Agile Methodology) from initial requirements to solution, and up to release planning with NAB asset teams
  • Manage release to a train – cluster of sprints – Platform and Assets
  • Drive and own the operational / production readiness report.
  • Monitor, maintain and measure PE horizon view for EPICS, features, and stories within the business outcome.
  • Identify and manage the risk and issues throughout the delivery life cycle.
  • Own level squad capacity planning and Analysis
  • Manage Client Tech Asset team engagement and strong management of dependencies across different assets, teams and domains
  • Manage stakeholder relationships e.g., PO, Tech and Business teams
  • Provide targeted communication to all stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables, and issues and to measure and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Drive uplift of capability and operating model to improve delivery velocity


  • Here’s What You Need


  • Scrum master and business agility experience with certifications (e.g. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM))
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Deep understanding and application of Agile methodologies and relevant certifications (e.g. SAFe Agilist, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP))
  • Industry practice in banking, capital markets, private wealth management and the like will be highly regarded
