About The Team
As Nokia's growth engine, we create value for communication service providers and enterprise customers by leading the transition to cloud-native software and as-a-service delivery models. Our inclusive team of dreamers, doers and disruptors push the limits from impossible to possible.
- Position: Trainee, Data Curator & Benchmark Specialist
- Duration: Flexible / 6 months
- Location: Espoo, Finland
- Education Recommendations: Ongoing studies on a BSc/MSc level in Computer Science, Information Management, Library Science, or related field
- Architect, build and maintain Kubernetes (preferably OpenShift) clusters and associated services using Helm, Kustomize, service mesh technologies and container registries to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Write, test, and refactor Python-based microservices, manage code via Git repositories and workflows, and integrate changes into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Tekton) to deliver rapid, reliable releases.
- Configure and use Prometheus, Grafana, and (optionally) eBPF/Cilium/Hubble for monitoring and tracing; rapidly diagnose and resolve performance or reliability issues in production environments.
Cloud-native Fundamentals:
- Experience in deploying, developing, and maintaining K8s platforms – OCP preferred.
- Well versed on tools typically used on cloud-native related – manifest files, HELM, Kustomize, service mesh, Container Registries, etc.
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana is important.
- Experience with eBPF, Cilium and Hubble is a plus.
- Must be experienced with Python programming, classes, libraries, etc.
- You will be knowledgeable about microservices architectures.
- Experience with git repositories and methodologies is required.
- Work exposure to CI/CD pipelines – Tekton is considered a plus.
