We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to support the development of next-generation embedded systems at the intersection of hardware and AI. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on low-level firmware challenges, real-time performance tuning, and edge intelligence. As part of the client’s team, you will contribute to the design, optimization, and integration of firmware solutions on ARM Cortex-M55 platforms, enabling powerful AI/ML capabilities directly at the edge.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement embedded firmware for ARM Cortex-M-based systems

• Optimize system performance and memory usage for efficient edge AI deployment

• Collaborate with cross-functional hardware/software teams to align system-level architecture

• Integrate compact AI/ML models into embedded environments using on-chip CPU and GPU resources

• Lead validation, debugging, and release processes with a focus on quality and stability

• Experiment with and apply emerging techniques in low-power AI inference and LLMs at the edge

Your Background

• Strong expertise in embedded firmware development, particularly for the ARM Cortex-M family

• Solid understanding of real-time operating systems and resource-constrained environments

• Experience deploying AI/ML models on embedded devices, with familiarity in edge inference workflows

• Proficient with embedded development tools, compilers, and debugging interfaces

• Able to troubleshoot complex hardware/software interactions and optimize performance holistically

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest or hands-on experience with edge AI, LLMs, or TinyML

• Background in the semiconductor or electronics industries

• Experience in agile, collaborative R&D environments
