Job Title: Business Analyst – Payments (6-Month Contract)

Location: Dublin, Ireland (On-site)

Contract Type: Daily Rate Contract

Duration: 6 Months

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep domain expertise in payments to join a dynamic team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering critical projects for a leading organisation in the financial services space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, define, and document business and functional requirements related to payments systems and processes.
• Analyse and map existing payment workflows, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
• Translate business needs into clear and actionable specifications for development and testing teams.
• Support project delivery from initiation through to implementation, ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance standards.
• Work cross-functionally with technical, operations, and product teams to ensure smooth execution and integration.
• Produce high-quality documentation including business cases, process flows, user stories, and test scenarios.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the payments domain (SEPA, SWIFT, Faster Payments, Card Payments, etc.).
• Strong understanding of payment infrastructures, clearing and settlement systems, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience working on large-scale financial or technology transformation projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Based in or able to commute to Dublin, with availability for hybrid or on-site work as needed.
