Lead Front end / Full stack developer

We are looking to expand our frontend/full stack team here at Workofo. If you are a React/TypeScript dev and want to work on an AI/ML-powered workforce management solution, this might be the perfect role for you.

What We are Working On:

At Workofo, we are developing an innovative workforce management solution with AI/ML steroids. Our frontend stack includes:

• Client-side app built on React (18.3.1) with Mui/Apollo and Vite.
• Next.js (v14) app for SSR and performance.
• React Native (v0.75.4) mobile app with ApolloClient.
• TypeScript service running on Bun/tRPC/zod.

We use a monorepo setup with packages and apps, and for contracting between services, we rely on GraphQL/protobufs and tRPC. We also have a Rails GraphQL app (in maintenance mode and already covered).

Who We Are Looking For:

• Deep knowledge of React, TypeScript, and JavaScript (minimum 2 years of professional experience): You’re comfortable building complex frontend applications and have a strong grasp of the fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Node.js: You understand how Node.js works and its role in the full-stack development process.
• Experience with Docker: You know how to write Docker files, pull the latest images, and refresh containers smoothly.
• Git expertise: You can troubleshoot and get out of tricky situations with Git, ensuring a smooth workflow for the team.
• Strong communication skills: You can clearly express technical challenges and propose solutions, making collaboration easier across teams.
• Familiarity with Next.js , we would expect that You have worked at least with 1 or 2 projects

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with React Native
• Experience with GraphQL, protobufs, and tRPC: Bonus points if you’ve worked with these tools for API and data handling.
• Experience with different JS/TS runtimes: Having knowledge of various runtimes can give you an edge in solving unique challenges.
• You are someone who enjoys collaborating with product owners, managers, and backend/infrastructure teams to bring great features to life. You thrive in a dynamic environment and love taking on new challenges with cutting-edge technology.
