Full Stack Developer

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to join a successful European Fintech as they build a new tech hub in Lisbon. You’ll help develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications in our Azure environment - contributing to frontend and public API layers, with scope to work across backend logic, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps tooling.

You’ll be part of a solution-focused team working with modern technologies including TypeScript, React, Next.js, Express, Java, Spring Framework, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and Terraform.

This is a great opportunity for an early to mid-level developer to build real-world experience and grow in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

Your Role

• Developing new features and maintaining our existing Next.JS and React applications
• Developing responsive components that serve our users across mobile and desktop
• API and backend development using Spring Framework and Spring Boot
• Writing automated unit and regression tests
• Assisting and mentoring junior team members
• Actively participating in code reviews
• Participate in solution and technical design sessions
• Assist with writing user stories and specifications

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in a full stack developer capacity
• A mix of JavaScript or Typescript, Next.JS & React and Java
• Professional English language
• Experience and strong understanding of building modern, cloud native, secure and performant frontend and backend applications
• DevOps exposure (Agile, GitOps, CI/CD)
• Security and performance considerations
• Able to participate in technical design and planning discussions

Bonus

• Node.JS and Express
• Public cloud engineering experience (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, Pulumi)
• Docker & Kubernetes
• UI/UX design experience
• Other programming languages like Kotlin, Python etc.
• Experience designing, documenting and implementing both internal and public APIs
• Experience working as part of an international team
