Your New Role

We are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to join our International Labor team.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Process employee payroll calculations in accordance with labor laws and internal company policies.
• Ensure data accuracy and quality through regular checks and controls.
• Review, verify, and correct payroll records and databases.
• Maintain accurate records of hours worked, absences, vacations, and other relevant payroll inputs.
• Manage employee benefits such as meal vouchers, transport allowances, and others.
• Ensure compliance with tax and social security obligations related to payroll (filings and settlements with the relevant authorities).
• Maintain and update employee information in databases, ensuring the accuracy of payment details, deductions, and benefits.
• Handle labor, tax, and social security communications with relevant institutions and authorities.
• Resolve employee queries and incidents related to payroll.
• Stay up to date with labor laws and regulations in the country (including applicable collective bargaining agreements).
• Support in obtaining and processing work permits.
• Collaborate with the Labour Operations Specialist on shared processes.
• Provide accurate information, documentation, and data for accounting close, audits, and inspections.
• Prepare reports and respond to queries related to employee data.
• Contribute continuous improvement ideas for processes within the payroll area.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency in compensation & benefits policies and other People/Tax-related practices.
• Act as a point of contact with external partners and providers, ensuring high-quality service and fee optimization.
  
  

About You

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field.
• Fluency in both German and English is required.
• Proven experience (2-5 years) in payroll processing and administration.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and Excel skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying improvements.
