One of our federal Government clients is seeking to engage Lead Application Specialist/Application(Low-Code) Architect /Outsystems Lead for Sydney and Melbourne locations
Please note Candidate must have Australian Citizenship
Initial contract duration-12 months

Job details
Application Architects design, implement and evolve the application environment in the organisation. They pay close attention to how applications interact with each other to form a service and aim to improve the way application support the business.
Key duties and responsibilities
As a Digital Tech Lead, you will be accountable for:
- Playing an instrument role in designing and developing complex, responsive web applications on ASIC's digital platforms.
- Supporting architecture designs by contributing to design decisions, evaluating technology options and ensuring alignment with architecture principles and roadmap.
- Working with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, UX/UI designers and
- Business Analysts, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conducting feasibility studies and develop protype to validate proposed solutions.
- Reviewing API mapping to connect enterprise systems, third party platforms and digital applications.
- Working closely with developers ensuring solution design are understood and implemented.
- Providing technical direction and development support, including code reviews, troubleshooting and hands-on problem solving.
- Technical Assistance during testing phase, ensuring functional and non-functional requirements are met.
- Contributing to the continuous improvements to applications, environments, and processes
- Providing advice, coaching and knowledge transfer to junior staff as required.
Qualifications and experience:
- Extensive experience in low-code development (Outsystems preferred) for web and mobile applications, including integration with enterprise applications.
- Proven experience in technical leadership, mentoring and team management
- Strong experience in detail design and API mapping for digital applications.
- Understanding of human-centered design principles and experience applying them in web development.
- Proficient in REST APIs, knowledge of API Gateway and API management.
- Proficient in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and pipeline management.
- Experience working in Agile, DevOps and cross-functional teams.
- Experience designing scalable and high-availability solutions.
- Experience with enterprise CMS platform.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and web accessibility standards.
- Experience in performing code reviews and ensuring code quality.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and people skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including the ability to clearly communicate technical details to business.
