Landscape Research Assistant

We are seeking a Research Assistant to join the team working on Cpla Tr, an EPA-funded project within the SABRE Research Centre at the School of Engineering, South East Technological University (SETU). The project combines digital twin technology as a platform that is structured and managed around a landscape biography methodological framework for the environmental analysis of the coastal region of the Tramore Back Strand in County Waterford. The aim of the project is to protect and restore the natural environment of this area in the face of ongoing climate change, including the increased frequency of extreme weather events, rising sea levels, change in the biodiversity structure, whilst balancing the challenge of a growing local population with its subsequent impact on the area.
