The Design+ Technology Gateway, based in SETU Carlow campus, applies industrial design capabilities for companies from Engineering, ICT & Software and Bio life science sectors nationally. The Specified Purpose role is to support the existing product design offering with Design+ Technology Gateway to develop and deliver design led supports for businesses.

Essential Criteria

A relevant Honours degree (first or second class) in Product Design or Industrial Design or equivalent
Extensive knowledge in SLA and FDM 3D printing
Experience in SolidWorks and Keyshot software packages
An active interest in Design related research

Desirable Criteria

A higher qualification (Masters or PhD or equivalent)

Salary: Assistant Staff Officer Salary Scale €37,217 - €53,301
