Quality Assurance Engineer

You will be part of a talented team of testing professionals, building your skills in both software and hardware, and performing integration testing for an enterprise-level laboratory medical device that can analyze a high volume of samples around the clock..

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain test cases based on the software/system requirements in accordance with the project standards, guidance, and processes
• Execute test cases and evaluate the results
• Investigate if deviations occur during execution
• Perform system testing in an integrated environment
• Periodic interaction with instruments used in the medical industry for real-life testing
• End-to-end testing to ensure that the system works as intended, including the business perspective and usability
• Defect identification and reporting
• Follow the instructions, guidelines, and regulations in the software medical industry
• Collaborate with a geographically distributed team, with colleagues in the EU and the US

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a software tester for web or desktop apps in an IT environment
• Proficient in English

Education

• Bachelor of Science or Master’s in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Bioinformatics or equivalent
