Position Overview

As an IT DevOps Apprentice at Texas Roadhouse, you will embark on a hands-on learning journey, gaining foundational skills in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices. This apprenticeship is designed to align with the BIT502 program, providing you with mentorship, practical experience, and exposure to real-world scenarios in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will:

• Assist in the deployment and maintenance of cloud infrastructure across platforms like Azure and AWS.
• Support efforts to automate infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Respond to Tier 1 support incidents, troubleshooting basic issues and escalating complex problems.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation for platform configurations and operational procedures.
• Participate in internal training programs to build a foundational understanding of DevOps practices and cloud technologies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of the BIT502 program or a related technical training program.
• Basic understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure) and virtualization (e.g., VMware).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn and contribute in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

• AWS Cloud Practitioner
