Junior Frontend Engineer | React & TypeScript | Hybrid (London)

An early-stage startup in the AI and compliance space is looking for a Junior Frontend Engineer to help build their very first user-facing product from the ground up.

They’re on a mission to transform how banks handle compliance processes, combining intelligent infrastructure with thoughtful, intuitive design. With a working backend already in place, they're now building out the frontend, and this is your chance to shape it.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building performant, accessible interfaces in React and TypeScript
• Collaborating closely with product and design to shape the user experience
• Contributing to a greenfield product with real impact
• Learning from experienced engineers in a transparent, low-ego team

Ideal for someone who:

• Has a solid foundation in modern frontend development (React, TypeScript)
• Has built web apps or component libraries before
• Cares about design and usability
• Thrives in early-stage, fast-moving environments

Details:

• Salary: £45–65k depending on experience
• Location: Hybrid (2–3 days/week in a London office)
• Two stage interview process
