🔍 About the Role

Are you passionate about cybersecurity and ready to lead global-scale detection and response initiatives? We’re looking for an experienced IT Security Officer to join our Cybersecurity Center (CSC) team. Based in Madrid with hybrid flexibility, this role is central to delivering world-class cybersecurity services across a global enterprise.

You’ll be responsible for enhancing detection and response capabilities, managing vendor operations, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced, international environment.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve core CSC services: SIEM, MDR, Threat Hunting, Incident Response, EDR, and Red Teaming.
• Oversee vendor performance and ensure service level adherence.
• Develop and refine use cases, playbooks, and incident response processes.
• Drive integration of log sources and automation in detection tools.
• Coordinate global incident response and crisis management efforts.
• Create dashboards and reports for technical and executive stakeholders.
• Stay ahead of cybersecurity trends and recommend innovative solutions.

🎓 What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in IT Security, ideally in a SOC or similar environment.
• Strong technical knowledge in cloud, network, and infrastructure security.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, threat intelligence, and incident response.
• Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and tools such as Splunk, QRadar, Kali Linux.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP, CEH, GIAC, CISA) are a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a bonus.
