☁️ We're Looking for a Cloud Engineer Who Knows AWS Like Home

At VetFamily, we’re scaling a portfolio of products that serve veterinary clinics and suppliers across the globe. Behind every feature, every visualization, and every insight we deliver is a modern, cloud-native infrastructure. We're now looking for a AWS Cloud Engineer who can help us build, operate, and evolve that backbone—ensuring reliability, performance, and agility across our AWS-based ecosystem.

Whether you're coming from a DevOps background or grew into cloud engineering from fullstack development, this role is for someone who’s deeply fluent in modern AWS services and comfortable working across a broad platform footprint—from web services and data warehouses to alarms, pipelines, and permissions.

This is a role for a hands-on builder and infrastructure thinker. You’ll help us maintain and expand our cloud architecture, harmonize environments across teams, and support the rollout of new products, integrate M&A targets and future in-house initiatives.

🌐 About the Role

VetFamily operates a diverse but unified platform, comprising half a dozen core products—all harmonized on AWS. These span transaction engines, data pipelines, internal tools, and customer-facing portals used by clinics and suppliers.

As we expand our development pipeline and product portfolio, we need someone who can take ownership of our cloud infrastructure and support our cross-functional teams with cloud development and best practices. You'll be an advocate for reliability, security, and simplicity—making sure our systems scale with our business.

You won’t be devops—you’ll be architecting, developing, improving, and coaching others in how to operate within our AWS environment with confidence and clarity.

🔧 What You’ll Do

  • AWS Infrastructure – Build and maintain infrastructure across a modern AWS stack.
  • Cloud Development – build fullstack products together with our product owners and tech team.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code – Manage environments with Terraform.
  • DevOps & Monitoring – Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, logging, metrics.
  • Backend Operations – Support the operation of backend services for our customer-facing products and internal systems.
  • Cross-Product Consistency – Harmonize infrastructure practices across our product portfolio.
  • Cloud Coaching – Help developers and data teams work more effectively in AWS by promoting best practices and self-service tooling.
  • Product Enablement – Work closely with product teams to support the deployment and scaling of new features and services.

🧠 About You

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform and cloud hosting best-practices for multi region/country deloyments.
  • Able to support a broad platform: you’re familiar with how modern web services, DWHs (like Snowflake), and data pipelines interact in a cloud-native world.
  • Proactive mindset—you look for opportunities to improve stability, performance, and developer experience before problems arise.
  • Strong debugging and incident response skills—you know how to set the right alerts and act when something’s off.
  • Excellent communication skills—you can guide a team through AWS trade-offs or explain why a service should be throttled.

🌟 Why Join VetFamily?

  • Cloud at Scale – Operate and evolve a platform that processes billions in transactions and serves a global network of veterinary clinics.
  • Hands-On Ownership – No red tape, no silos—you’ll own your work and make real decisions.
  • Tech-Driven Culture – Work with developers, data scientists, and product teams who value clarity, automation, and clean architecture.
  • Growth & Exploration – Be part of a scaling team where your skills can grow alongside our product ambitions.
  • Stockholm Office, Global Reach – Enjoy a great office environment with hybrid flexibility.
  • Mission-Driven Work – Help support the care of animals worldwide by enabling better digital tools for veterinarians.
