📢 Jr. Business/Data Analyst – Capital Markets

💼 Contract: 30 weeks (Approx. 7.5 months), possible extension

📍 Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid – in office Wednesdays & Thursdays)

💰 Pay Rate: Incorporated: $35–$40.50/hr OR T4: $30–$34/hr

We’re looking for a Business Analyst with a sharp eye for detail and a strong background in capital markets and risk data management. You'll help support and optimize risk exposure monitoring through structured data analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and automation using SQL or Python.

🔍 What You'll Do:

• Maintain and support accurate risk data in our exposure monitoring systems.
• Develop and deliver scheduled and ad hoc reports and dashboards.
• Analyze and escalate significant data variances, trends, or opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and sources.
• Provide guidance on analytics, data sourcing, and process improvements.
• Participate in the design and execution of key risk management strategies.
• Support risk metrics, change management, and data governance initiatives.

✅ What You'll Bring:

• 1–3 years’ experience in a business analyst or data-focused role.
• Post-secondary degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis/automation.
• Solid grasp of capital markets and market risk measures.
• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with testing and change management.
