Are you a proactive and analytical cybersecurity professional ready to make a difference? We are seeking a dedicated Security Analyst to join our dynamic team in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you'll be instrumental in analyzing complex data, identifying risks, and providing strategic recommendations that align with our business objectives and customer needs.

What You’ll Do

Analyze & Recommend:

Thoroughly review and analyze complex data to derive actionable insights and make informed recommendations.
Provide direction on reports and analyses, ensuring alignment with customer and business goals.

Risk Mitigation & Escalation:

Recommend courses of action to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with established standards in coordination with the ISD ECM.
Identify, escalate, and manage high-risk change activities to ensure effective risk treatment.

Collaborate & Consult:

Work closely with Information Security teams and other key organizational units to address operational roadblocks.
Consult with IT and business stakeholders to offer professional support and optimize our cybersecurity infrastructure.

Continuous Improvement:

Be relentless in pursuing continuous cyber hygiene, control completeness, and overall effectiveness.
Act as a data lead, collating automated and self-identified risk findings, while driving proactive remediation and countermeasures.

Team Contribution:

Contribute to the achievement of team and area objectives through collaboration and innovative problem-solving.
Maintain clear, concise, and effective communication, both verbally and in writing.

Your Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience); advanced degree preferred.
Experience in GRC with a focus on information security or related technology. Background in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in business intelligence data analysis and reporting platforms such as SQL, DB2, Power BI, Business Objects, Qlik, Tableau, and Excel/PowerPoint.
Strong logical and physical database design skills.
Familiarity with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts.

Analytical & Problem-Solving:

Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills with a data-driven mindset.
Self-motivated team player with excellent time management, independent thinking, and decision-making capabilities.

Additional Desirable Skills:

Understanding of Identity and Access Management principles.
Working knowledge of Cybersecurity Frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, CRI, ISO).

Software Proficiency:

Competence in MS Office and familiarity with ServiceNow.
