Company Description

Welcome to SIM city - we're building the first global telecom to break down borders of global communication.

Imagine it’s the early 2000s. Every office in your international company runs its own local server. Each system is separate, hard to manage, and impossible to scale. The more countries you have, the more complicated your setup is.

Then came the cloud. Suddenly, you could solve local needs and manage everything centrally scaling into new countries is as easy as staying in one.

That’s what Telgea is doing for managingmobile plans.

We’re replacing scattered, country-specific telco setups with one unified platform.

Since welcoming our first customer in February, we’ve surpassed $1M in contracted ARR, with users now active in six countries. Momentum is strong and we need your help to scale our services in step with our commercial growth.

If you’re fueled by curiosity, driven by creativity, and excited about shaping the future of telecom, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate closely with the team to scale the Mobile Plan Portal, our customer-facing platform for managing mobile plans across countries.
  • Contribute fresh ideas and take initiative to influence both app development and broader product direction beyond existing projects.
  • Work with a modern tech stack including Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Apply your skills across frontend and backend technologies built on top of Next.js.
  • Take full ownership of features from planning and implementation to shipping and continuous optimization.
  • Partner with our UI/UX team to build exceptional user experiences.
  • Help architect software that is both scalable and maintainable as we grow.
  • Share your insights through code reviews, feedback, and idea exchanges with your peers.

Culture

Our culture is essential to us and therefore we want to ensure everyone we bring on the team fits with it.

  • We value freedom and accountability. We manage our time independently and optimize for impact and progress.
  • We think like owners. Everyone takes responsibility for moving the company forward and making it a success.
  • We stay positive. We believe in creating a fun, safe, and uplifting environment for everyone on the team.
  • We execute. We don’t dwell on problems - we solve them. Complaints and excuses don’t move us forward.
  • We believe great work happens when it’s fun. Collaboration works best when people enjoy the ride together.

What We’re Looking For

  • You have 5+ years of experience building modern web apps with React and TypeScript. You’re confident with Next.js and well-versed in both common and advanced React patterns. Working with Git is second nature.
  • You’re passionate about building best-in-class user experiences. You know what makes an app feel great and can both contribute to UX decisions and implement them with precision.
  • You’ve built and maintained scalable applications. You enjoy designing clean architectures and writing high-quality code that stands the test of time.
  • You thrive in early-stage product development. You’re excited to build from scratch, actively engage in the design process, and understand user and customer needs.
  • You love learning new technologies. You’re curious, adaptable, and focused on choosing the right tool for the job—not just the one you already know.
  • You care about impact beyond code. You understand the importance of business context and know how to balance speed and technical excellence.
  • You’re a true all-rounder: comfortable with RESTful APIs, Docker, GCP, GitHub Actions, and Playwright.

Why Join Us:

  • Join a Dev team where your contributions are directly tied to the company’s growth.
  • Work with talented individuals who hold themselves and each other to high standards.
  • Build software the right way, by using modern engineering practices like CI/CD, testing in production, feature flags, and trunk-based development to ensure quality, speed, and reliability.
  • Participate in full-company trips four times a year to connect and collaborate with teammates.
  • Work with autonomy and flexibility, blending work and personal life as you wish.
  • Be part of a fast-growing company at the forefront of telecom innovation, delivering impactful solutions to global businesses.
