Mid Embedded Software Engineer C/C++

We are currently looking for a C/C++ Embedded Software Engineer to join our client – a global company developing advanced industrial solutions, including control and automation systems.

The team is entering the development phase of a new project focused on building an innovative system that enhances automation in industrial processes, enabling more flexible and efficient management of controller code and its deployment.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, implementation, and optimization of embedded software in C/C++, taking into account hardware constraints and reliability requirements
• Development of applications on Unix-based operating systems (e.g., Linux, QNX), including environment setup, integration, and testing
• Building and maintaining communication layers using protocols such as CAN, LIN
• Collaborating with technical teams and clients
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation and project specifications

Ideal candidate profile:

• At least 3 years or more of experience with C/C++ (preferably with experience in embedded systems)
• Unix-based OS (e.g., Linux, QNX)
• Communication protocols: CAN, LIN, J1939, Modbus, CANopen
• Good communication skills in English (collaboration with a global team)
• Nice to have: experience in writing drivers or working with low-level code (bare-metal or RTOS)

Conditions:

• Work model: Katowice (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
• Salary: 100-140 PLN net/h
