Are you ready to take your software skills to new heights? At KUBO, we are looking for a talented Senior Java & Cloud Developer to support a leading client in the aviation industry, who aims to transform critical 24/7 crew tracking software into a cutting-edge, cloud-based solution using AWS.

Key responsibilities
- Develop user applications designed for continuous 24/7 operation
- Transform large, complex on-premises systems into cloud-friendly solutions using AWS
- Upgrade and modernize the existing technology stack and architecture
- Collaborate closely with the team using pair- and mob-programming techniques
- Contribute to innovation and experimentation with new technologies
- Help solve customer challenges with scalable, reliable software
Ideal candidate profile
- Experience with Java, Python, Spring Boot and Linux OS
- Experience with Eclipse RCP is a plus
- Familiarity with large and complex software systems
- Broad technical background, combined with deep knowledge in at least one area, such as Kubernetes, AI, cloud deployment, AWS, DevSecOps
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Ability to communicate in Swedish or willingness to learn will be considered a big plus
