Senior PHP Developer

Our client is a logistics and supply chain provider focused on transporting goods across Africa. The project involves developing a platform for real-time truck tracking, route optimization, and shipment accounting. The goal is to improve visibility, streamline operations, and ensure end-to-end control over cargo movement.

We are looking for a PHP Developer with hands-on experience in the Symfony framework to join our team. The ideal candidate will be confident working with Twig templates, Symfony Forms, and have a solid understanding of backend development principles. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required to support frontend integration.

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Symfony framework.
• Build reusable and maintainable code with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Work with Twig for templating and Symfony Forms for data handling.
• Integrate frontend components with backend logic.
• Collaborate with team members to define and implement new features.
• Debug and resolve technical issues in existing applications.

• Proven experience with PHP and Symfony (v4+ preferred).
• Proficiency in Twig templating and Symfony Forms.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Ability to write clean, well-documented code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• At least upper intermediate  English level 

• Experience with REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Composer, Doctrine ORM.
• Familiarity with unit testing or functional testing.
