UI Designer - Design Systems

Senior UI Designer

Sydney (3/2 WFH split)

$160k package (inc super)

We are looking for a Senor UI Designer to join a mobile first company that makes travel seamless for millions of users across Australia every single day. You'll be joining an established design team where the average tenure of designers in the company is 4+ years (which is crazy is 2025), working on their design system to centralise the design function.

What You’ll Do

• Evolve and maintain their design system (components, patterns, guidelines etc)
• Design high-fidelity UI for web and mobile apps
• Collaborate with product and UX designers to translate concepts into scalable interfaces
• Work closely with engineering to ensure designs are implemented accurately
• Advocate for consistency, accessibility, and pixel-perfection

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years experience in UI design, with a strong focus on design systems
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, component libraries, tokens, etc.)
• Strong understanding of responsive and accessible design principles (WCAG)
• Experience working in cross-functional product teams
• A portfolio that showcases both your visual skills and systems thinking
