About the Role

We are hiring on behalf of a Giga Project client in Saudi Arabia for the position of Design Manager. This role requires an experienced professional capable of overseeing the full design lifecycle of complex, multidisciplinary projects. The successful candidate will coordinate across architecture, infrastructure, MEP, and specialist design consultants to deliver high-quality, fully coordinated design packages in line with project milestones.

This is a client-side or PMC role, suited for someone who understands large-scale development processes and is comfortable managing teams, approvals, and technical deliverables in a high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design Coordination

• Lead the coordination of architectural, structural, MEP, landscape, infrastructure, and specialist designs

• Manage the review and integration of consultant deliverables throughout design stages (Concept, Schematic, Detailed, IFC)

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and global design standards

Stakeholder Engagement

• Facilitate design workshops and meetings with consultants, authorities, and internal stakeholders

• Provide input on design strategy, value engineering, and interface management

• Act as a liaison between project delivery teams, consultants, and client representatives

Design Delivery Oversight

• Monitor design schedules and ensure alignment with construction and procurement timelines

• Lead the review and approval process for design submissions, mockups, and materials

• Maintain quality assurance and control standards across design documentation

Who We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural or multidisciplinary design management

• Experience working on large-scale masterplans, mixed-use, or infrastructure developments

• Proven background in client-side or PMC environments

• Strong understanding of Saudi regulations and authority approval processes

• Familiar with BIM coordination tools (Navisworks, Revit) and document control platforms

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field; master’s degree preferred

• Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills
