🚀 PHP Developer – Hybrid (1 day a week) – £45,000 – Hull-based Software Company

Are you a passionate PHP Developer looking to join a forward-thinking software company with a strong foothold in their market?

Our client is an established and growing tech business delivering high-impact software solutions across the UK & US. As part of their continued growth, they’re looking for a talented PHP Developer with experience in modern MVC frameworks to join their collaborative team.

🔍 What You'll Be Doing:

• Developing and maintaining web-based applications using PHP and a modern MVC framework (Laravel, Symfony, or similar).
• Working as part of an agile development team to build scalable and efficient solutions.
• Writing clean, testable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product, design, and QA.
• Taking part in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.

✅ What We're Looking For:

• Solid experience in PHP development.
• Hands-on experience with a modern MVC framework – Laravel, Symfony, or similar.
• Strong understanding of web application architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Git, Composer, and modern development workflows.
• A team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.

💻 Tech Stack (you don’t need experience with everything):

• PHP (Laravel/Symfony)
• MySQL / PostgreSQL
• JavaScript (React a bonus)
• Docker (nice to have)
• Git / GitHub / CI pipelines

🏠 Hybrid Working:

This is a hybrid role requiring just one day in the office per week. The rest of your time is remote, giving you the flexibility to do your best work, wherever you are.
