Project Coordinator

About The Role

Qatar Aviation Services Cargo is recruiting for experienced Project Coordinator responsible to coordinate with the project team and stakeholders to develop a time line, create schedules and oversee progress ensuring goals are met on time.

The role will maintain and keep the project system up to date and inform the Project Manager and respective stakeholders of any deviation from expected delivery. The Project Coordinator will also organize project related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored.

Operational Accountabilities

• Coordinate MOI airport pass applications, work permits, logistics, and documentation for suppliers and contractors on each project.
• Supervise current projects and coordinate with all team members to keep the workflow on track.
• Coordinate project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored.
• Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails.
• Adhere to the budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures
• Support the project team through the effective coordination between all entities involved in the project portfolio.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the activities, resources and information necessary for successful progression of projects are captured and reported as required.
• Review project documents, drawing submissions and communicate required changes or other comments of note.
• Develop and track project schedules to monitor milestones and alert the Project Manager and respective stakeholders of any deviation from expected delivery.
• Attend/represent the project management team at contractor/brand meetings, capturing key information and / or minutes as required.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with contractors, clients, stakeholders, providing timely information and problem resolution.
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Qualifications

About you:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum 2-years of job-related experience or 3 years job-related experience with High School/Vocational/Diploma qualification.
• Work experience in project documentation and coordination with process design and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge and experience in Project Management tools.
• Ideally with Hands-on / On-site experience within Aviation
• Has good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships.
• Advanced level user of Microsoft Office suite and Visio.
• Preferably with understanding of process improvement theories such as Lean Six Sigma
