The Role

We’re seeking a Network Engineer to support the sustainment of a secure, hybrid network platform within a large multinational organisation. This is a 6-month contract based in Sydney, offering a hybrid work arrangement (2–3 days onsite, remainder WFH).

You’ll work within a broader infrastructure and operations team to ensure seamless connectivity across LAN, WAN, and cloud environments, contributing to a high-performing and secure comms ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and manage LAN/WAN/server/cloud communications infrastructure
• Maintain and support routing protocols (e.g., BGP) and associated network services
• Implement and support network appliances and cloud technologies, such as Palo Alto
• Contribute to the sustainment and enhancement of an existing secure network platform
• Collaborate across teams and regions in a multinational operating model
• Support documentation and reporting of network architecture and configurations
• Assist with performance monitoring, issue resolution, and operational continuity

What You Bring

• NV1 security clearance (mandatory)
• Mid-level experience in network engineering and infrastructure support
• Strong knowledge of routing/switching, WAN and LAN communications
• Exposure to network security platforms, including Palo Alto or similar appliances
• Experience working within hybrid/cloud environments
• Ability to work independently within a distributed team
