Parker Stewart is delighted to partner with an established Irish organisation who are looking to hire an experienced IT Leader to manger their Global IT Operations. This role is pivotal for shaping and executing the IT strategy that aligns and supports the company’s global operations and growth ambitions. The successful candidate will ensure that technology acts as an enabler of operational excellence and commercial success across multiple locations around the world.

Critical to this position is an excellent understanding of enterprise IT governance, cross-functional stakeholder management, and the ability to drive digital transformation in a customer-centric business environment.

Key Duties:

Strategic IT Leadership

• Lead the development and implementation of a global technology roadmap aligned to business goals
• Act as a key point of contact and trusted advisor to senior executives and local market leadership teams, translating business needs into scalable, cost-effective technology solutions
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, agile thinking, and cross-border collaboration

Technology Operations & Programme Oversight

• Champion the integration of performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and service level management across the organization
• Oversee the successful delivery of global and local IT initiatives, ensuring adherence to governance standards and commercial objectives

New Market Enablement

• Partner with business development and implementation teams to define technology requirements for new markets or ventures
• Lead IT readiness planning for greenfield deployments, including resource allocation, infrastructure, and vendor coordination

Cybersecurity, Compliance & Data Analytics

• Collaborate closely with the group’s information security team to uphold global cybersecurity standards and implement a proactive risk management approach
• Embed analytics capabilities into business operations, enhancing decision-making through actionable insights
• Promote best practices in data governance and empower teams to leverage tools such as Power BI for reporting and forecasting

Experience & Qualifications required

• Third level degree or diploma in Information technology, Computer Information Systems, or a relevant related field
• Proven track record in a senior IT leadership role within a multinational or multi-site commercial environment
• Strong expertise in enterprise IT strategy, programme delivery, and stakeholder engagement at C-suite level
• Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to align technical initiatives with business outcomes
• Experience with ERP systems, enterprise reporting tools, and IT service delivery models
• Background in retail, consumer services, or a similarly fast-paced, customer-oriented industry
• Skilled in vendor management, contract negotiation, and delivering value through third-party partnerships
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence at a senior level
• Able to navigate complex organizational structures and lead through change
