About the role

In Strategic Product Initiatives, we drive the development of new products and product-related partnerships for Sygnum Bank. This involves working across all stages of the product lifecycle, from ideation and testing to go-to-market strategy, commercialization, and scaling. We collaborate with some of the largest institutions in the digital asset industry, with a strong commitment to delivering best-in-class solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.

We look for an additional project and solutions manager to help us with further accelerating the development and roll-out of new products, with contributing to cross-industry initiatives as well as with establishing of new strategic industry collaborations.

• Support with the development of key strategic products and cross-industry initiatives and help to scale our existing product offering.
• Act as a client-facing subject matter expert for products developed by our department and professionally interact with institutional players like funds, hedge funds, brokers, custodians, foundations or banks.
• Combine forces with all departments across the bank, including tech, legal, compliance, risk, finance, operations, the clients team and other product departments.
• Drive the competitive strategy of new products and their market positioning.
• Originate new product ideas, assess their feasibility and market potential and pitch them to the senior management.
• Support the department’s strategy development process considering the latest market, technical and regulatory developments.
• Act as independent problem-solver and caretaker for a variety of topics for the benefit of the team, the company and our clients.

Our ideal candidate

• A top-tier university education with a business or technical focus
• 2-3 years of professional experience at a leading management consulting firm or a comparable in-house strategy or consulting role, ideally with a focus on financial services and/or digital assets
• Experience in working with institutional clients, like funds, hedge funds, brokers, custodians, foundations or banks.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in German and English to clearly and concisely articulate complex concepts, ideas, and processes
• Able to thrive in an uncertain environment and motivated to go the extra mile
• Entrepreneurial mindset, capable of working effectively across functions in a diverse setting on multiple projects
• Hands-on experience with DLT / Blockchain
• Independent thinker (constructively questioning the status quo) with a proven ability to collaborate and achieve impact in a team environment
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• High energy, initiative, discipline, perseverance, and self-motivation
• Utmost integrity and professionalism
