Data Analyst

Job Description:

We’re seeking a Data Analyst to support gas metering operations across three regional meter shops. This role is responsible for running key system reports, ensuring meter data accuracy, and preparing reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate thrives on digging into data, spotting inconsistencies, and streamlining reporting processes across multiple platforms like SAP and CRS.

Key Responsibilities

• Run recurring and ad hoc reports in SAP, CRS, and other systems to support metering operations
• Match physical meter records with electronic module data to ensure consistency and compliance
• Monitor, track, and reconcile gas meter inventory and installation data across multiple locations
• Prepare and distribute internal data reports and summaries for regulatory reporting purposes
• Serve as a liaison between meter shop operations and data/reporting teams
• Support ongoing metering activities by ensuring clean, timely, and accurate data delivery

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of experience in a data analysis, reporting, or operations support role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data cleanup)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail is non-negotiable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in cross-functional team settings
• Comfortable working with multiple systems and learning new tools on the job

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Working knowledge of SQL for data queries and validation
• Experience with Power BI or other dashboard/reporting tools
• Familiarity with SAP Cloud Analytics and SAP ISU module
• Prior experience in the utility or energy sector is highly preferred
