What we are looking for:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical People & Reward Data Analyst 📊 to join our team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining and improving the quality, integrity, and usability of HR and reward data. You will be responsible for data validation, reporting, and analysis activities that support our compensation, benefits, and workforce planning programs.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Excel, SQL, and Power BI, as well as a passion for data integrity and process improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform quality assessments on HR and reward data elements and structures;
- Document and evaluate the integrity, completeness, and appropriateness of data formats, records, and structures;
- Configure and operate manual and automated methods for testing data outputs and inputs;
- Develop processes to ensure data complies with governance, product management standards, and client requirements;
- Conduct regular and ad hoc audits, reviews, and investigations of HR and reward data;
- Prepare clear, actionable reports and summaries of findings for senior stakeholders;
- Design and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide insights on workforce and compensation trends;
- Extract, manipulate, and analyze large data sets using SQL to support HR initiatives;
- Work closely with HR, Reward, Finance, and IT teams to ensure alignment on data related initiatives;
- Provide analytical support for annual compensation reviews, annual salary survey participation, benchmarking, gender pay gap reporting, equal pay audits and workforce analytics.
Skills & Requirements:
- Proven experience in a data analyst or data quality role within HR, reward, or a related field;
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and VBA (preferred);
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis;
- Experience with Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization including presentation of data insights in PowerPoint;
- Understanding of HR data structures, compensation frameworks, and workforce metrics;
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR);
- Ideally experience of working with Zellis HRIS;
- High attention to detail and accuracy;
- Excellent communication skills for presenting data insights;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
