Senior Fullstack Engineer (Node/React)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer (Node, React) to join our growing development team. This role requires a specialist with several years of hands-on experience building scalable web applications using modern technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in full-stack development and be able to demonstrate their expertise through a portfolio of completed projects.

Our client is a leading provider in the healthcare IT industry, specializing in offering data-driven solutions aimed at supporting clinicians in achieving high-value, multidisciplinary care for older adults.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team assigned to build a new greenfield development on a modernized platform aimed at revolutionizing healthcare. This solution will offer a unified user experience for managing the majority of PACE workflows, including clinical, practice management, compliance, and plan workflows, based on the industry model already established. Required Technical Skills

• NextJS: Advanced proficiency required (core framework for our application)
• tRPC: Experience with type-safe API development and integration
• MongoDB: Strong knowledge of NoSQL database design, queries, and optimization
• Material Design: Experience implementing Google's Material Design system
• Testing: Proficiency with Vitest for unit and integration testing
• Yarn Workspaces: Experience managing monorepo structures
• Algorithms & Data Structures: Excellent understanding and practical application

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on US healthcare projects (beneficial but not required)
• Understanding of healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using NextJS and tRPC
• Design and implement efficient database schemas and queries in MongoDB
• Write comprehensive tests using Vitest to ensure code quality and reliability
• Collaborate with design teams to implement Material Design components
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions
• Work within Yarn workspace environments to manage dependencies and packages
• Optimize application performance and implement best practices
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Portfolio Required: Must be able to demonstrate previous work and technical expertise
• 5+ years of full-stack development experience
• Proven track record of delivering complex web applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
