About the Role

PureCS is on a mission to transform healthcare and insurance ecosystems through AI-driven innovation. We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to lead a multidisciplinary team in designing and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions that improve patient outcomes, optimize clinical workflows, and streamline insurance operations. This is a high-impact leadership role combining hands-on technical expertise with strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities

🧠 Technical Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end AI/ML lifecycle: data collection, model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, regulatory standards, and security protocols across ML projects.
• Apply the latest AI techniques to solve real-world healthcare and insurance challenges.

🤝 Vendor & Project Management

• Manage relationships with third-party AI vendors to ensure smooth integration and performance alignment.
• Oversee delivery timelines, risk mitigation, and achievement of performance benchmarks.

🌐 Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with product, clinical, and operations teams to address complex, high-value problems using AI.
• Translate technical ML models into actionable business and clinical decisions.

🔧 Operational Excellence (MLOps)

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, model governance, and scalable AI infrastructure using cloud-native tools.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years in ML/AI roles, including 2+ years in leadership positions.
• Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies, version control, and MLOps best practices.
• A proven track record in regulated industries, such as healthcare or insurance, is highly desirable.

Must-Have Skills:

• AI model development and validation expertise.
• Proficient in Python, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Experience with Azure cloud and Docker containerization.
• Skilled in SQL and ETL processes.

Preferred Industry Experience

• Delivering ML/AI solutions in healthcare or insurance sectors (e.g., claims processing, patient data management, risk modeling, fraud detection).
• Exceptional communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders in healthcare and insurance domains.
