Lead Software Engineer

Lead Developer - E-commerce

We are partnered with a fast-growing tech company who are looking for an experienced Lead Developer to manage a team of four talented engineers and take their advanced e-commerce platform to the next level.

Reporting directly to the Founder/CEO, you'll play a key role in expanding consumer brands across major retail channels in the US and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee platform roadmap, backlog, and team management
• Advise stakeholders on technical matters and strategic insights
• Build and maintain services connecting data sources, enabling efficient processing and analytics
• Design and develop their AWS infrastructure using CDK (Typescript) and manage event-driven architectures

Requirements:

👥 Team Leadership: successfully managed technical teams, guiding them to success and fostering collaboration.

📅 Project Pro: Proven track record in managing technical projects, from planning through execution.

👨‍💻 Hands-On Developer: Skilled in development, with practical experience in building and delivering software solutions.

🧩 Independent & Organized: Able to prioritize tasks and work autonomously while staying focused on top priorities.

☁️ Cloud Savvy: Experience with AWS or other public cloud platforms is a must.

🛠️ Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Comfortable working with IaC tools and concepts.

💻 TypeScript Master: Advanced skills in TypeScript, bringing robust, type-safe coding to every project.

📊 SQL Expertise: Strong SQL skills to manage, query, and optimize data effectively.

⚡ Performance Minded: Knowledgeable about building for performance, scalability, and security.

🛒 eCommerce Know-How: Experience in the eCommerce industry is a huge plus!
