Opportunity overview

You’ll take the technical lead in a project focused on data visualization and management for large U.S. retail networks. This platform directly enhances operational efficiency through clean interfaces, smart automation, and robust infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for shaping technical direction, translating business needs into dev-ready tasks, and mentoring a talented, international team of engineers.

Your impact zone

• Lead architecture and design for fullstack solutions (Node.js + React)
• Collaborate with stakeholders on business requirements and translate them into technical roadmaps
• Propose and implement improvements across the entire software development lifecycle
• Guide developers through clear task definition, technical mentoring, and code reviews
• Maintain and improve project documentation
• Ensure quality, security, and performance standards are met
• Actively contribute to team knowledge-sharing and Cloudfide’s engineering culture
  
  

Key responsibilities

• Deliver scalable backend APIs in Node.js and frontend components in React
• Oversee secure authentication flows (OAuth2) and follow AuthN/AuthZ best practices
• Supervise data model design using relational databases
• Coordinate deployment processes and CI/CD flows (Azure, Docker)
• Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies as a technical lead
• Drive DevOps practices and automation across environments
  
  

Qualifications & Tech Toolbox

• Strong experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript
• Proven experience as a technical leader or team lead
• Solid understanding of relational database systems (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Knowledge of OAuth2, authentication/authorization mechanisms, and web security best practices
• Experience in working with Azure (or other cloud platforms)
• Understanding of network protocols and secure communication
• Comfortable using Git, Linux, and modern CLI tools
• Hands-on experience with Docker and DevOps workflows
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, Bicep)
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools
